How to store the soap between uses:

After use, store the soap bar in a dry area to prevent it from becoming soft or mushy. A well-draining soap dish or a soap saver is ideal, as they allow excess water to drain away from the soap bar. For convenience, you can order bathroom accessories from the "Bits and Bobs" section on my website.

Allow the soap to breathe. Avoid sealing it in airtight containers, as this can trap moisture and compromise its quality.

 

Salt is known for its hygroscopic properties, meaning it attracts moisture from the air. This characteristic can cause salt soaps to weep or form droplets on their surface, particularly during the humid periods of the year, like those often experienced in the UK. To mitigate this, we include silica gel packets in our salt soap packaging.
